Pastor Kirk Booth

Youth Pastor

Kirk is a 30 year youth ministry veteran who is passionate about training up children and teens in the way they should go so that when they are older they will not depart from the faith.  He and the Family Enrichment Team have created a comprehensive, pre-school to senior high discipleship/fellowship  which guides each child into Biblical competence, Church unity and ministry leadership before college.

He spent the first half of his life in San Jose, and the last 20 years in Morgan Hill, where he and his wife Cindy homeschooled Jack and Haley (both attending Santa Clara University and serving in Living Hope's youth program) and Henry (whose favorite place to be is church); and Quincy, the family dog of 11 years.

Kirk's life after meeting Christ has been spent enjoying Christ. Whether teaching eighth grade Bible at Valley Christian for 11 years, or coaching Christian athletes for 20 years, or teaching Worldviews classes in the homeschool community for the last 6 years, Jesus has been the objective and joy of all his activities.  While Kirk graduated Bethany Bible College with a BA in Church Leadership, received his teaching credentials from Shasta Bible College, and attended Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, he says his real education comes from hearing and doing God's word.
